Keynote Speaker

Our district is excited to host 2015 World Champion of Public Speaking, Mohammed Qahtani, as our keynote speaker!

Growing up, Mohammed suffered from severe stuttering, but was able to overcome it by facing his fears, pushing the envelope and performing on stage. He is passionate about public speaking and stand-up comedy. He has participated in several conferences around the world where he inspires people to chase their dreams. Watch his 2015 World Championship speech, “The Power of Words”.

Workshop Sessions

A basic overview of basic parliamentarian practices and provide an opportunity for participants to practice and provide an open Q&A session. Participants will have a basic understanding of basic parliamentarian practice, especially those preparing for the District’s Annual Business Meeting.

Meeting Engagement – Virtual, Hybrid, & In Person (Grace Morgan)

There are benefits to conducting events and meetings virtually – but how do you do it well? We will discuss the eventual return to in-person events, the benefits of an online component will continue to make it a viable option for many organizations, including Toastmasters clubs.
