Speech contests are an important part of the Toastmasters educational program. They provide an opportunity for Toastmasters to gain speaking experience, as well as an opportunity for other Toastmasters to learn by observing proficient speakers and organizing events outside their club.

This contest season marks our return to in-person contests for the first time since 2020! Join the representatives from our Area M1 and Area M2 clubs as they compete in their area-level International Speech & Evaluation Contests.The winners of these contests will advance to the Division M Contest.

Logistics

• Admission cost: free
• Contest will take place in Room M218 of the Buell Building. Buell is marked as #5 on the LTU campus map (PDF).
• If you have any questions or are interested in serving as a functionary, please contact event chair Hissie Johnson.
