SUMMARY:Area M1 & Area M2 International Speech & Evaluation Contests
DESCRIPTION:Speech contests are an important part of the Toastmasters educational program. They provide an opportunity for Toastmasters to gain speaking experience\, as well as an opportunity for other Toastmasters to learn by observing proficient speakers and organizing events outside their club. \nThis contest season marks our return to in-person contests for the first time since 2020! Join the representatives from our Area M1 and Area M2 clubs as they compete in their area-level International Speech & Evaluation Contests.The winners of these contests will advance to the Division M Contest. \nSee the Toastmasters International 2024–2025 Speech Contest Rulebook for eligibility requirements (and all other rules)\, and the District 28 contest resources page for more information on running\, supporting\, or competing in speech contests. \nLogistics\n\nAdmission cost: free\nContest will take place in Room M218 of the Buell Building.
