Supplemental Club Officer Training

This supplemental club officer training will provide knowledge and tools for club officers and Toastmasters members to implement in their own clubs. The education and training event focuses on serving you, the club officers of District 28, to enable you to lead your club to excellence, distinction, and distinguished club status.
Workshop topics include:
- Training on the role & responsibility of each club officer position
- Explanation of the Distinguished Club Program (DCP), along with the Club Success Plan and Moments of Truth leadership tools
- How to leverage the District via your Area Director (your point of contact within District 28)
- (short) Q&A with District 28 Leaders
Lessons learned from this workshop session, if applied in the club environment, usually result in more satisfied club members, more exciting club meetings, more guests and new members, and greater opportunities for personal growth and club success. These training opportunities are open to all Toastmasters in good standing.
Current club officers in attendance at this event will contribute toward their club’s goals in the Distinguished Club Program. All club officers are encouraged to attend at least one TLI and/or Supplemental Club Officer Training twice per year. There will be a second round of training January–March 2022.
Note: this is a reduced program that does not cover all topics addressed at the broader, more value-added Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI). District 28 hosted two TLI sessions in June 2021.
Registration is free. Please register online for this August 5th evening session to help our district team as they plan the event. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Zoom meeting.
