[D28_community] Time is Running Out!

Hello Toastmaster!

Hurry, hurry, hurry!!! Time is running out to sign up for the Fall Conference, as it is NEXT WEEKEND! This will be an awesome event that you do not want to miss.

You will want to attend this event because:
1. You will have the chance to network with other Toastmasters.
2. You could learn something.
3. You want to cheer on your contestants in the Table Topics and/or Humorous Speech Contests.
4. You want to hear some motivational keynote addresses.
5. You are a club President or Vice President of Education and you need to vote at the business meeting, so you might as well stay.
6. You are your club's proxy for the business meeting, so you might as well stay.
7. The food is better than what you can cook for yourself at home.
8. For UofM football fans, it's only the Ball State game - who cares?

Don’t miss the Table Topics contest on Friday night. Watch as some of the District’s best impromptu speakers craft a speech in front of your eyes. If that was not entertainment enough, be sure to stay for Friday Fun Night featuring a hypnotist, who is also a Toastmaster. It will be a great time! 

Saturday offers you a plethora of learning opportunities. District 28's own John Washington kicks off the morning with his general session. There are some excellent workshops that will help your teamwork and cooperation skills. Lunch will feature the District 28 Hall of Fame, celebrating the successes of last year and the Communication and Leadership award presentation. This conference’s recipient is Michael Scott Karpovich, a professional speaker who works with youth through drug prevention programs and school assemblies. You can watch the District in action at the ever-popular District Council meeting. For some laughs, you cannot beat the fun at the Humorous Speech Contest in the afternoon.

Attend all or part of the program. YOU MAKE THE CHOICE!
