[D28_community] New Club, Officer Training

Welcome to Compucators Toastmasters (# 861229), which chartered on
January 1, 2006!  The club, at the Compuware offices in downtown
Detroit,  is in Division F, Area 27. Club Sponsors are Kizzy Cross and
Paula Shelton, ATM-G.  The Club Mentors are Susana Woloson, CTM and
Damon Dixon, ATM-G.

Don't forget that Club Officer Training is being held on SATURDAY,
JANUARY 14, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. (registration) 9:00 a.m. (start) until
1:00 p.m. at the University of Michigan – Dearborn, in the Social

Does your club have "issues" relating to finding or keeping members? 
Well, do we have a session for you!  The training will include a special 
panel discussion on membership building and retention. The panel will 
include members from four clubs in the district (community and 
corporate) that have been particularly successful in attracting new 
members and/or in keeping members, and they are all willing to share 
their "secrets" with you!
