[D28_community] Club Officer Training Opportunities!

Hello, Fellow Toastmasters! Please pass this message along to your 
club's officers.

SAVE THE DATE!!!

If you are a club officer (or will be in January), please plan to attend 
one of these Club Officer Training sessions, scheduled for 8 a.m.-12:30 
p.m.:

    * Saturday, January 20, 2007, at the University of
      Michigan-Dearborn, Social Science Bldg.
    * Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Owens Community College in
      Perrysburg, Ohio, AV Bldg.

Both sessions will include opportunities to discuss challenges within 
your club, seek advice, and network with other officers. This round of 
training will cover different topics than the summer training, so please 
plan to attend! We will discuss ways to help your club with membership 
building, club quality issues, using the new CL manual, and the spring 
speech contest season, including a special training session for speech 
contest judges . For those of you who think you might be ready to take 
on new challenges, there will also be a presentation on District-level 
leadership opportunities.

PLEASE don't let this chance to learn and to improve your leadership 
skills go to waste!

Registration and Breakfast for this FREE event will begin at 8:00 AM, 
the program begins at 8:30 AM, and we'll wrap up by 12:30 PM.  Advance 
registration is NOT required.
