SUMMARY:Speakers Bureau Qualifier
DESCRIPTION:This is the opportunity to find out what the Speakers Bureau is all about. Speakers will be vying to become a District 28 Qualified Speaker. Becoming a Qualified Speaker entails presenting a 20–22 minute speech of their choice to the audience. Speakers will be evaluated on both content and presentation by a team of qualified Toastmasters. \nOnce qualified\, speakers are part of the Speakers Bureau and have access to speaking opportunities both within the District and outside of Toastmasters—a win-win opportunity for Toastmasters International and District 28. \nLight refreshments will be served for in-person attendees. Doors open at 12:30\, and the event gavels at 1 PM. \nLocation\nThe in-person event will take place following the June 21st TLI in Room M336 of the Buell Building on the campus of Lawrence Technological University.
