DESCRIPTION:The Detroit Rocks and BookMasters Toastmasters clubs are excited to announce their first annual Fall Drama Showcase\, hosted by New Hope Expressions at the Third New Hope Baptist Church in Detroit. \nThe showcase format is as follows: \n\nDoors open at 9 AM\, gavel at 9:30.\nEach speech must be a published or printed work from a play\, novel\, short story\, or poem.\nSpeeches must be 5–7 minutes long\, and tell a complete story.\nUp to eight speakers may participate\, and speaking opportunities will be assigned on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nInterpretation is the key element to this event\, so be sure to fully analyze the story and characters!
