Dear District 28,

Well, it is (almost) finally here! In just about 32 hours, the
Registration Desk will be opening up for the Spring 2007 Conference.
This should be my last email announcement as your Conference Chair. The
planning has been a fun and rewarding experience, but before I get
teary-eyed, we still have lots to do in execution! Please note a few
final points of business:

- The most up-to-date versions of the Conference and Workshop Schedules
(yes, there have been some last-minute changes) are on the web site at
www.d28toastmasters.org - Click on "Spring Conference" on the left-hand
panel.

- Online (PayPal) and mail-in registration is now closed. You may now
register at the conference. For any portion of the conference that
includes meals, there will be an additional flat fee of $10.00. We
regret that we cannot guarantee the availability of meals for
individuals who register on-site, but, as always, we'll do our best to
make such arrangements.

- A variety of card games, board games, and dice await you for Friday
Game Night! We will have a Casino Dealer on hand to deal Texas Hold 'Em
(poker) or Blackjack. Additional dealers welcome! You may also bring
your own game(s) if you wish.

- Do you know where you are going? We will be at The Westin-Southfield
Hotel, 1500 Town Center, Southfield, MI 48075, Friday-Saturday, April
20-21, 2007. Breakfast on Sunday is available in the restaurant at your
own expense.

I think that's it! I look forward to the weekend with you! Thanks once
again to all the LEADERS who are helping MAKE this conference happen -
with you, IT is POSSIBLE!
