Fellow Toastmasters,

This is a reminder that the District 28 Fall 2006
Conference is less 
than one month away!  With a theme of  "Teamwork Makes
It Possible!" the 
November 3-4, 2006, conference will be held at The
Holiday Inn Select in 
Auburn Hills. The conference registration form is
available on the 
District 28 website: www.d28toastmasters.org, under
the "Fall 
Conference" section, in both the traditional and
on-line payment 
versions.  With the on-line version, you may use the
credit card of your 
choice.  (You do not need to have a PayPal account to
use this service!)

Our discounted registration agreement with the hotel
has been extended 
to October 23, so please make your hotel registration
as soon as 
possible.  The current price is $89 per night.  Call

mention "Toastmasters" for the special rate.

District conferences provide excellent opportunities
to learn, laugh, 
renew old acquaintances, and make new friends. The
Fall 2006 conference 
will feature the district-level Table Topics and
Humorous Speech 
contests, the always interesting District Council
business meeting, and 
an awesome array of educational workshops!  (Go to the

the list!)

Also, there's still time for you (or your club) to
purchase an ad in the
