Message-ID: <454A925D.4010804@umd.umich.edu> Fellow Toastmasters, This weekend is District 28's Fall Conference. For those of you who have already registered, terrific! See you there! For those of you who have not, and are interested in attending, please keep reading. The conference is at the Holiday Inn Select, 1500 Opdyke Road in Auburn Hills, and you are welcome to register for the conference on-site! (We can't guarantee meals will be available, but we'll do our best. If you are registering for any portion of the conference that includes meals, there will be a $10 surcharge for those that register on-site.) A printable registration form is available at www.d28toastmasters.org under Fall Conference. A schedule of events is also posted there. Some of the start times are: Friday: 6:00 pm. - Registration Desk Opens 7:00 pm. - Table Topics Contest, followed by Friday Fun Night, featuring hypnotist Larry Szczepanski. Saturday: 7:30 a.m. - Registration Desk Reopens, Breakfast Buffet 8:00 a.m. - First Timer's Meeting 8:30 a.m. - Opening Session 11:45 a.m. - Luncheon, Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony, and C&L Recipient Keynote 1:50 p.m. - District Council Meeting* 4:30 p.m. - Humorous Speech Contest (Please arrive early!) 6:45 p.m. - District Governor's Banquet and Dancing!
