[D28_community] Talk Up Toastmasters!

Hello fellow Toastmasters!  You already know that getting new members to
join your club is one way to help keep (or make) your club healthier.
But did you know that Toastmasters International has recognition
programs to reward clubs, and individual members, for their membership
building efforts?  It sure does!  Check out these current programs:

Talk up Toastmasters!

During the "Talk up Toastmasters!" membership program, when your club
adds five or more members (new, dual or reinstated) to your roster
between February 1 and March 31, you’ll receive a special "Talk up
Toastmasters!" ribbon to display on your club’s banner.

Annual Membership Program

This program runs July 1 – June 30, and acknowledges individuals who
have sponsored five, 10, 15 or more members (new, dual or reinstated)
during the program.  Prizes include:
"Find Your Voice. Serve Your World." pin	5 members
"Gold Star" pin 				10 members
Toastmasters necktie or scarf			15 members

As clubs or individuals achieve these levels (and TI reports them to
me), results are posted to the D28 website at:

P.S.  Don't forget about the DISTRICT membership building contest, which
runs through March 31.  Details regarding "Heat Things Up!" are on the
