An electronic version is ready for viewing at the District web site, www.d28toastmasters.org. A paper copy is currently at the printers, and will be mailed out to all members in the near future. This issue includes valuable information on many topics, such as the upcoming District 28 and Region VI conferences, the recent changes in TI's education and leadership program, and many other issues important to individual members, clubs, and the District as a whole. The next issue is scheduled for May. If you have suggestions for topics, or are interested in submitting an article, please let me know. Your input is always appreciated. While I have you, note that you STILL have time to register for the District 28 Spring Conference, April 21 and 22 at the Kensington Court Hotel in Ann Arbor! The theme is "Lights, Camera, Action!", and we have a full agenda of District contests, workshops, speakers, and meals planned, in addition to the District Business meeting that EVERY club should send a representative to. Check the Cornerstone for more information. Thanks! Kevin P. Olmstead, DTM Editor, The Cornerstone Spring 2006 District Conference Chair Candidate for Lt. I hope that you will continue to serve our organization and volunteer when called upon. For Speaking and Leadership Excellence, Todd PS - I am writing to you from the District 10 conference in Canton, OH, where I just had the opportunity to give the test speech for their Evaluation Contest. It was one of the best volunteer experiences that I have ever had. When given the chance, go outside of your club, area, division, or district and see first-hand what our great organization has to offer, TAKE IT!!!
