Do you have a desire to continuously practice the leadership skills you have gained as a Toastmaster? Would you like to learn more as a leader while fulfilling the mission of the district and Toastmasters International? Have you been looking for an opportunity to help empower members and assist the district?
You can do this while serving in a district leadership position. This is just one way to enhance your leadership skills while giving back to others. Such a position has the potential to make you a more effective leader in many aspects of your life. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support your fellow Toastmasters as you will also be mentored and supported by your fellow district leaders. Together you will strategize and execute plans for the forward motion of District 28.
If you are interested in developing your leadership skills, the District Leadership Committee would like to interview you. Please download and complete the District Leader Nominating Form (PDF) if you’re interested in the positions of District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, or Division Director (see below for more information on each of these positions).
Completed nominating forms, questions, or concerns can be emailed to District Leadership Committee Chair LaShon Bowers, DTM, IPDD. Nominating forms must be received no later than January 10, 2018.
